Membership

Online Giving Join us on Sundays

We see Oak Grove Baptist Restoration Ministries as more than a place to go. We are a family to belong to. Belonging to a church family is important, and if God so leads, you are welcome here. There are several reasons why church membership is essential: membership offers a vision to connect with and a cause to invest in; it provides you with an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself; it gives you a solid foundation to use your gifts to minister to others; and it helps you to fulfill the plan of God for his body. The membership process requires attending membership classes. To get information about the next class, contact Minister Tony Carter.

How do I become a member?

After the sermon, the invitation will be extended for persons to join the church. Persons may join the church through the following ways:

Water Baptism – For persons who are willing to have faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal Savior and who have never before joined a church.

Christian Experience – For persons who have faith in Jesus Christ and were previously members of another church, but for some reason are no longer active in that church.

Letter – For persons who are an ordained officer of the church, i.e., a deacon, minister, missionary or Pastor.

Restoration – For persons who have faith in Jesus Christ and were previously members of Oak Grove Baptist Restoration Ministries but for any number of reasons became inactive and wishes to restore their membership with us.

Watch Care – For persons who have faith in Jesus Christ and have a membership in another church, but who are in Augusta County, or surrounding areas for a temporary time span (for instance: in school, working or living with relatives) and wish to have a church home while in the area.
